Artistic Director

Maureen McGrath has been a dance educator for over 35 years. During this time, she has directed a competition and performance program, created an annual dance workshop, been the creator and artistic director of a contemporary dance concert, and created a costume company. She has also worked as a choreographer for Stephens Auditorium’s production of the Nutcracker, for which she has recently been named Artistic Director. Many of her dancers have gone on to have professional careers in dance. She is proud of the many paths her alumni have taken. Dance has permeated every facet of her life. She believes in dance education and the potential of every student.
