Instructor

Blair Hibbing has been dancing for over 13 years, and has trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater, modern, and partnering. Throughout her training, she has performed in numerous productions with Iowa Youth Ballet and Iowa State University, and was an active member of the Dancenter Dancers Performance Company for many years. Along with her performance experience, Blair has attended numerous regional and national conventions and intensives, and had the opportunity to learn from renowned instructors and choreographers from across the country. She also earned multiple scholarships, including NYCDA Outstanding Dancer Scholarships, and a BodyTraffic Summer Intensive Scholarship.

Blair has always loved teaching and mentoring young dancers. Over the years, she has assisted classes for dancers of all ages, substituted for jazz and contemporary classes, and choreographed for Orchesis 1 Dance Company at ISU. Her goal as a teacher is to create a positive, encouraging, and supportive classroom where every dancer feels valued and inspired to grow. She can’t wait to help each dancer reach their potential while fostering a lifelong love of dance!

The first semester of Blair’s Gold Enrichment Class will feature 8 weeks of core & cardio conditioning and 8 weeks of turns.
