Allison began her dance training in small-town, southern Iowa at the age of 8, and continued her studies at the University of Iowa, focused primarily on ballet and jazz. In the 25 plus years since then, she has danced with a number of different programs in and around Des Moines, and has performed with the Iowa Dance Theater, Iowa Choreography Festival, and most recently as a member of the Pointe Academy Dance Ensemble for 6 years. Allison firmly believes ballet is for everyone, and loves sharing her experience, knowledge and passion for dance.
